Who ever designed this car must have been mad it sits low to the floor to get better cornering and wide arches in order to house the wide wheels that will improve handling.I know I wouldn’t like to need to replace the tires on this car, can you imagine having to buy two 20” tires or two 19” tires.
From the sounds of it there has to be something living under the bonnet since the V12 delivers a staggering
o 670 BHP @ 5400 RPM
o 1000 NM of torque @ 2200-4200 RPM
o Acceleration 0-100 KMh 3.8 seconds.
o TOP TRACK SPEED 320 KMh
The only downside to the performance of the car that I can see is that the maximum revs are 6000 RPM, but nevertheless having a V12 with 670 BHP can’t be bad.
Mercedes really must have wanted to create a beast because they have installed the V12 with duel flow turbocharger with bigger compressor wheels to increase the turbo power.
There are both good and bad points, with the transmission on the AMG black series a good point is having an automatic gearbox you get a much faster gear change for the optimised performance and one of the downsides is that its an auto so for anyone who does not really like driving an auto then its not the best one for you.
The roof of the car has been completely newly designed using a carbon fiber roof and also integrated with a new rollover bar for added safety.
The Mercedes has been equipped with new adjustable coil springs and also tuned for the motorsport fans the driver can also alter the suspension setup from inside the car you have the choice of 3 various settings ”ESP ON” ”ESP SPORT” and ”ESP OFF” to give you a range of setups for different driving conditions.
AMG have specially built the exhausts for the car to help reduce the gas back pressure and boost the power which is usually a good thing. But then there is the noise that loud roar from that V12 engine and the dual pipes at the back of the car to produce that sound. Inside the car is completed with leather and also carbon fiber door panels and the new AMG Mercedes bucket seats are produced from carbon fiber and also finished with leather. The bucket seats are designed to keep you tight in the corners.
For those of you who are in to racing cars then id say look at the Mercedes black series I’d personally take it to a professional racing track mainly because of all speed cameras and police cars, not that any of them will catch this. Considering the power the Mercedes is producing I think it’ll rip the road to bits and people will definitely know when its coming from far away that V12 roar everybody will know it’s you.
